Vasikkavuoma is one of Northern Europe's largest slåttermyr. The surface is approximately 250 hectares and in olddays, there were about 350 barns. Currently, there is a 70 - Speech barns left. The name Vasikkavuoma probably stems from the Sami word Wasckjåck.
