Lapland Guesthouse

Lapland Guesthouse

The main house of the small family company Lapland Guesthouse is one of five timber houses, all located by the beautiful Lainio River. Some of the buildings were built in the 1700’s. There are 13 rooms, all with different characters and names. For example, you can sleep in the pure white “Snow”, in cosy “Forest” or experience “Kaamos” which features the colours of the polar night. All rooms are individually decorated and furnished with antiques, modern art and local handicraft.

In the restaurant you can enjoy local delicacies, such as reindeer, moose and fish from our lakes and rivers, as well as berries and mushrooms from the surrounding forests. After enjoying a day in the outdoors, why not heat up one’s body in the wood-fired sauna or relax in the outdoor jacuzzi?

You can participate in activities like snowmobiling, husky safari, aurora hunting and more. All guides are very familiar with the nature and wildlife in Swedish Lapland.
